Back-To-School essentials + GIVEAWAY

August 20, 2016

If there's one thing I know, high school is definitely nothing like High School Musical. It's a lie. But hey, one can still dream. And when the first day of school starts to roll around the corner (or for some of us who've already started school-- myself included), we all know that preparing for school is basically the equivalent to preparing yourself for war. The battlefield that is school can be the worse place to be for 7+ hours if you're not well supplied. So today, I am blessing you all with my top three tips and back-to-school essentials. I haven't managed to fully embarrass myself at school just yet, so that goes to show how well it's working. Maybe?

(psst. A little birdie told me that you should stay tuned to the end of the post for a giveaway.)

tip 1: Hydrate yourself. Always. And as if no ones told you enough, your body needs the H2O to keep your systems working and flushed. But if plain water isn't for you because yes, I know, it can get boring. Sometimes, if I'm feeling fancy, I'll drop in a few slices of lemon for a citrusy twist. Also, that's bonus points for getting that Vitamin C in your day. So go get yourself some agua. Plus, those extra trips to the bathroom call for extra out-of-classroom time to stretch those legs out. You'll thank me.

tip 2: The rate at which Altoids are consumed is exponentially greater when you're at school. That's a fact. And overtime, those tins will collect and pile and you've got literally no idea on what to do with them. But I DO: reuse your empty Altoid tin as an emergency kit to keep yourself equipped with miscellaneous items for those oh shi* moments! Someone needs a band-aid for a stupid paper-cut? I got you. Awkward clothing situation? I've got boob-tape. Lost your 128301748th bobby pin? Have another one.

Last but not least, tip 3: You've all heard that story of how that one unfortunate kid dropped their phone and dented one of their lovely corners or shattered their entire phone screen because their case wasn't protective enough. But fear not.

A protective AND lightweight case keeps the cracks away. And mine is from totallee! I'm someone who loves to showcase the classic and sleek design of my iPhone whilst searching for some sort of protection incase of minor drops. I don't trust myself with no case at all, so something that looks like it's got no case is my cup of tea. Which is why the Spy from totallee is my favorite. So incredibly slim, lightweight and not to mention minimal-- perfect. But totallee, know for their slim and chic cases, also carries two other styles, each with different levels of protection: the Doberman and the Scarf. You can check them out online here!Today, I've partnered up with totallee today to bring one lucky winner a free phone case! All you have to do is follow both of us on Instagram (@a.flair and @totalleecase) and tag 2-3 friends in the comments of this post. Then that's it, you're in! Easy as drinking water. The giveaway will end on September 3rd, so please-- spread the word and cross your fingers!
But, "School" backwards is "loochs" and to be honest, neither of them make sense? -A
